Service Above Self

Ryan has a long history of service to Minnesota and his local community. He currently serves on several non-profit boards and has aided local governments including through several appointed roles. He was appointed a planning commissioner for the City of Blaine and he currently is a member of a city appointed working group in Maple Grove to assess the feasibility of a $100 million dollar community center expansion.

Ryan is an attorney and the former CEO of a medical device research company which he co-founded and grew into a leading global organization. He co-founded Symbios Clinical which later became a division of Medpace. Prior to that Ryan worked for large and small medical device companies, including Medtronic where he lead clinical trial programs. Ryan has his bachelors degree and MBA from the University of Minnesota. He obtained his law degree from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law where he finished first in his class and subsequently clerked at the Minnesota Supreme Court. As an attorney, Ryan has taken on significant litigation matters in state and federal court. Ryan lives in Maple Grove with his wife and their five children.
